Chrysalis
The Chrysalis Project was founded in 2019 in Auroville, a universal township of 3500 people from 60 nationalities in South India. Chrysalis workshops began with our teaching in schools and community centres in Auroville as a well-being program supporting a healthy transition from childhood into adulthood. We noticed a gap in the education system and created a comprehensive program to cover healthy puberty, menstruation, gender, self esteem, respectful relationships and sexual education.
Our programs are built on both of our in depth knowledge and experience. They are grounded in clinical science and include a breadth of integral knowledge including wholistic nutrition, herbal medicine, archetype work, movement, arts and awareness of the entirety of our being from the physical to the subtle. We also now offer courses online for youth and adults.
The Chrysalis Archetype Card Deck
Our unique teaching materials celebrate the diversity of the youth and adults who join us on our courses. The Chrysalis Archetype Card Deck is one of the main tools we use in each workshop.
Card decks are fun and interactive tools for self reflection and connection. We created the Chrysalis Archetype Card Deck to represent the beauty and diversity of qualities found in mythological, divine or heroic figures from around the world. The aim of the cards is to portray many possibilities for inner qualities as well as in diverse physical representations.
